A screenshot of the science experiment notes Google Slide. It has a clip art image of a child looking at a plant with a magnifying glass. It also includes an image of a clip board with sections for question, hypothesis, and observations.

I used this with my online (Zoom) class of 5 first grade students. At the first of the year, we read and learned about what scientists do, including making observations. After that lesson, I wanted us to start practicing simple experiments and making observations about them. So, I made this template for me to use to write down their hypotheses and observations about the experiment/demonstration. You can make a copy of the Google Slide here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1GMTJvMC5f3CrVDC6K2J1MJkPtQ2PvJbn7hDY6nTSLbk/copy?usp=sharing
