Free Homeschool Consultations
Homeschooling can feel overwhelming sometimes! I offer free 30-minute consultations on Zoom to answer your questions, brainstorm ideas, and discuss practical strategies to support your child’s learning at home.
Possible questions we could chat about include:
-
What curriculum might work well for my child?
-
Do I even need a formal curriculum for every subject?
-
What if my child is reluctant to participate in “traditional” learning activities?
-
Or any other questions about academics, curriculum, or learning challenges.
The free consultation will include 1 thirty-minute consultation, plus 1 free 30-minute follow-up session a few weeks later after I’ve had time to gather some additional resources for you based on what we talk about. Additional consultations can be scheduled for $55 per hour.
FAQ About Homeschool Consultations
Who is this consultation with? You’ll be meeting directly with me: Dr. Nicole Caldwell, the educator behind AutismHomeschoolSuccess.com. You can read more about me here.
How can I schedule the consultation? I usually open up about 1-2 timeslots per week, and you can find the sessions available on my online calendar. You can schedule directly from there.
What information do I need to provide? Before our session, I’ll send you a Google Form that lists things like your child’s age, approximate grade level for academic skills, your child’s interests, and anything else you’d like to share. I'll also send you a Zoom link. If you don't receive these from me within a day or two, please reach out to nicolekcaldwell@gmail.com
Are there any questions you can’t answer? Yes, I can’t answer questions about legal requirements for homeschooling in different states/locations or questions that fall outside of my license as a teacher (such as psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, law, etc.). Our time together will focus on practical academic support and homeschooling strategies.
Is this really free? Yes! With teaching experience and a background in working with neurodiverse learners, I love helping families think through ways they can help their children thrive. I make money in two ways: tutoring and selling teaching materials on TeachersPayTeachers. I have a bunch of freebies on my TeachersPayTeachers page too, so click here for my store filtered to just show the free stuff. I won’t spend our time together talking about tutoring unless you’d like to explore that option.
